What began as a passion for preserving traditional flavors—from hand-pounded masalas to the perfect golden crust of a paratha—has grown into the Nani’s Kitchen you see today.
Nani believed that modern fast food had lost its soul. She set out to bring back the “slow food” movement—where ingredients are seasonal, techniques are traditional, and nothing is ever rushed. Whether it’s our signature Dahi Ke Sholay or a comforting Hot Chocolate, every item on our menu carries a piece of her legacy.

How it all started
Opened in 2001
The Heritage Begins. Long before the restaurant doors opened, Nani perfected her signature hand-pounded masalas. This year marked the birth of our Shahi Paneer and Paneer Do Pyaza—recipes passed down through generations that remain the soul of our menu today.
The birth of his menu
The Birth of “Dahi Ke Sholay.” Word spread across the colony about Nani’s unique tea-time snacks. In 2008, the legendary Dahi Ke Sholay was officially perfected—crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside—becoming the most requested starter at every family gathering.
The Global Kitchen
As the next generation joined the kitchen, we introduced international comforts with a “Nani” twist. This year saw the arrival of our White Sauce Pasta and the rustic Jalapeño Cornbread, blending traditional warmth with modern global flavors.
Nani’s Patisserie
We officially launched our bakery wing, bringing artisanal desserts to Gurgaon. From the Almond & Date Cake to our signature Roasted Strawberry Crumble, we began crafting treats that celebrate natural sweetness and premium ingredie
